Apple Carnegie Library, Washington DC

Development: Development Advisor to Apple for the company’s location at the Carnegie Library on Mount Vernon Square. This project is a complete historic restoration, restoring and revitalizing the Beaux-Arts style building once home to Washington, D.C.’s Central Public Library. Originally funded by Andrew Carnegie and opened in 1903, the renovated library is home to Apple’s Flagship Washington DC location.

The project also includes the new DC History Center and is home to the Historical Society of Washington DC.  The Kiplinger Research Library, three galleries, and a museum store are all owned and operated by the 125-year-old Historical Society of Washington, D.C.
